Delhi Government issues guidelines regarding the assessment of class 3 -8 for sessions 2020-21.

On Wednesday Delhi's Directorate issued guidelines instructing schools not to conduct offline examinations for students of classes 3 to 8 for the academic session 2020-21.

The guidelines instruct that the assessment would totally depend on the basis of worksheets and assignments. 'Since no online classes conducted for primary and middle level, mode of pen and paper assessment is replaced by based on assignment subject wise respectively for classes 3 to 8 for all government and government-aided schools' said by the guidelines.

The order also stated that students of classes KG to classes 2 will be given grades marks on the basis of their winter break assignment and responses to the online /offline worksheets shared with the student during COVID 19.

It is so stated that all current students of nursery to class 2 shall be promoted to the next class in academic sessions 2021-22.

The main focus of this assessment is to understand the impact of alternative strategies of learning approach that needed to be adopted during this 'COVID DISEASE'.
