ISRO
news

On the night of 6th September, ISRO attempted to land Vikram along with Pragyaan rover on the south pole of the moon which was a very difficult and challenging mission. India is the first country to explore such region in the moon. Before that, India was the first country to confirm the presence of water in that region of the moon with Chandrayaan-1.

On 7th September, I woke up in the morning, to the video of Dr K Sivan who broke down and was consoled by the prime minister. Honestly, it was a heartbreaking scene, which made all of us realize that even the best people can face a roadblock in the way of making history.

Nevertheless, it is a big victory for us that, we are the fourth country on the earth which attempted to land on the moon after the USA, Russia and China. Though we lost communication with the lunar just 2.1km from the lunar service.

India has located its missing Vikram lander on the lunar surface. K Sivan, chairman of ISRO, confirmed on 8th September that they have spotted the lander. It is still not clear what damage does the lander suffered due to which it lost its communication.

THINGS WE LEARNT FROM THE WHOLE MISSION

Never look back: It was a difficult mission, which required a lot of money and manpower. And we should never look back in life, rather learn from our mistakes and move forward.

People will try to pull you down: We almost made history, planned everything and did our best. But it feels bad that Pakistan is trolling us on twitter.

Look for positive: Although Pakistan is trolling us on twitter, we should look for positives like NASA congratulating us because it was indeed a difficult mission.

Never lose hope: The way our prime minister consoled K Sivan, it teaches us that we shouldn’t leave hope and always look forward in life.
