The Atal Residential Schools have been under construction in 18 commissionerates in Uttar Pradesh. The Atal Residential Schools have been designed to provide students with modern education in lines with that provided by NCERT.
The Uttar Pradesh government has set up the Atal Residential Schools for the students belonging to the organized sector. The UR Government already manages different residential schools including Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools and Rajkiye Ashram Padhati Vidyalayas; the Atal Residential Schools will just be the newest addition to the list.
The schools have been under construction for quite some time now. But the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, recently announced that the Atal Residential Schools will most likely be functioning from this academic session. The CM’s office tweeted, “UP Government has already arranged for Atal residential schools for the children of the organised sector to start this school in this session.”
