A group of students from Madhya Pradesh would go on a trip to Andaman and Nicobar Islands every year to learn and know the freedom struggle, said Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan on Friday.

The trip would generate the feeling of patriotism and dedication in children, said Mr. Chouhan, speaking at an event at Shaurya Smarak here in connection with 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav', the Union government's initiative to mark 75 years of India's Independence.

He said that efforts would begin for(NCC) National Cadet Corps and (NSS) National Scheme Service programs in all schools in the state.
Mr. Chouhan further added that thousands of our heroes would be brought to the fore so that future generations would know about their courage.

He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching the Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav. And the event was coinciding with the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's Dandi March of 1930.
